I really enjoyed your film. And have now done some research.? Filming in English courts outlawed in 1925. Cameras were allowed in Scottish courts in 1992, as long as all parties give consent. The 2002 Lockerbie trial was filmed in 2002. In Sept 2009 The Supreme Court in Westminster was fitted with cameras as as trial. As of Next May the law is to change in England with filming to be allowed, we are told. Can I ask how did you get the film we see now back? No worries!!

ok excuse my attitude, totally uncalled for i do not claim its not illegal but i? took a camera into a proper court it was my own case i was standing over my rights security was called they assaulted me i filmed it all and then brought went to the police with the film they still have iy now and i have not neen chargedso i feel there is no criminal offence? it is different in family court total secrecy parents can go to jail for talking about them! peace
By: hoppinonabronzeleg. on 08 Jan 12, 21:38:12
I am not claiming 'it is illegal' I have freely admitted I am not a lawyer I am an engineer. I DO NOT know the law. I thought either mistakenly, or correctly that it was illegal to film in court in the British Isles. You claim? otherwise. I pointed out in my last comment, about the pastel artists. Which in its self is not proof, but shows the direction I was going in. do you have any proof?
By: psychodrilla. on 08 Jan 12, 18:28:25
you are the one who claims it? is illegal why don't provide us with the legaleze re filming in court? or statute or 'law' its all available ukgovdotorg i obtained this video from the original uploader by downloading it from youtube then i reuploaded it here the original was taken down due to a claim by uk gov but no 'criminal proceedings' have ever been bought forward against any one except the guy who was assaulted by the wpc and her treacherous gang
By: hoppinonabronzeleg. on 08 Jan 12, 18:18:12
OK - but can you qoute me what the law is as it stands. I remember years ago during important court cases, the BBC used to employ anl artist, who would render the days proceedings in pastel. Because they said 'there was? a ban on cameras in court'
By: sssonick. on 08 Jan 12, 11:02:32
No, I am not saying that it's only wrong if you get caught, I am saying it's only wrong because they' say it is. Yes, I would be prepared to go into a? 'court' and film it, but Security are looking for recording devices when you go in. I was at this particular court case, and have to many others since, so I know that they are looking for recording devices.
By: hoppinonabronzeleg. on 06 Jan 12, 22:46:49
So because you have not quoted me 'the law' - chapter & verse, what you're saying, is tantamount to 'do what thou wilt; that shall be the whole of the law' . . It's only wrong if you get caught' . . a sort of anarchist's cherrypicking of the law. So you would be prepared to go into a court of law and? film it?
By: sssonick. on 06 Jan 12, 18:26:37
There is no hearing, it's a room in a court building that has been hired by the council to fool you into thinking it's a court, I have this straight from my local HMCS. They won't let? you take a camcorder into a court, but I have heard that there are other methods of recording sound and video :) ......but who am I to say that? :) .....what a good question.....who am I? :)
By: sssonick. on 06 Jan 12, 18:25:06
I'ts only 'illegal' in there fantasy world, there legal system is not for you, it is for your legal fiction, a 'lawful' system is what you should be thinking about, they tell you it is illegal because they say it is, if you don't comply.....keerrcchhiinngg, you get? a fine, it's only ever about the 'money' and control.
By: hoppinonabronzeleg. on 05 Jan 12, 19:15:26
Right, well I am no legal eagle, but? I thought it was illegal to have cameras in court. I mean this is just a magistrates court, not a crown court, and a hearing, not a trial - right??? I just thought it was illegal. So could I take a camcorder into court and film a hearing in the event of a C/Tax summons?
By: sssonick. on 05 Jan 12, 10:24:32
It was obviously filmed.....tell us why you think it 'illegal' that this was? filmed, it is a public building for the use of the public, what's the problem???
By: hoppinonabronzeleg. on 06 Dec 11, 23:02:48
How was this video obtained, surely it is not legal, that this was filmed??
By: RetroBob2084. on 18 Sep 11, 14:18:17
